    Proposal Description
The existing kitchen and lounge deem to be separate compartmentalized spaces, creating a disconnection between the two areas. Thus, a server style opening has been created to tie in both spaces, whilst, functionally, food & dishes can be passed through this opening when entertaining guests. The bathroom faced a similar compartmentalized layout, where the toilet had been isolated from the rest of the fittings. In order to create a more modern look, feel and flow, the internal walls have been demolished to create one large bathroom, with fittings rearranged in a more contemporary configuration. Due to the Covid – 19 pandemic, the owner had converted the existing storeroom into a self-contained cottage to further supplement his income due to financial loss and difficulties during this time. Due to decay and age, windows in bedroom 1, the kitchen and bathroom had been removed and replaced with new aluminium frames. It is important to note that all frames, windows and doors that are street facing, have been maintained and preserved.
