Proposal Description
Gert Sibande District Municipality would like to install a photo frame behind the information board of the site. The photo frame will not alter any of the already existing structures.The proposed location for the photo frame, situated at coordinates (31.110722;-25.946083), is approximately 36.6 km from the initial Greenstone View Geosite. The proposed photo frame will have to be placed in an area where it will not disturb the existing structure and preserve Geosite.
The aim is to promote tourism and show appreciation for the Barberton Makhonjwa Mountain World Heritage Site. The necessary environmental and safety considerations will be adhered to during construction to preserve the integrity of the site.
