Modiri Fuel Opco Filling Station on Erf 4757, Mafikeng Ext 38, Mahikeng

The proposed development is on Erf 4757, Mafikeng Ext 38, Mahikeng, Ngala Modiri Molema District Municipality in the North West Province. The property is located at the corner of First Avenue and Modiri Molema Sint Street. The project will be for the development of a retail filling station with 3 x 46m3 underground fuel storage tanks, a canopy covered forecourt, pump island and a convenience store. The preposed development will have a cumulative capacity of 138m3 of dangerous goods (petroleum products).
This project triggers Listing Notice 1, activity 14: "The development and related operation of facilities or infrastructure, for the storage, or for the storage and handling of a dangerous good, where such storage occurs in containers with a combined capacity of 80 cubic metres or more but not exceeding 500 cubic metres."
