Proposal Description
Genesis Mining and Energy applied for a prospecting right in terms of section 16 of the MPRDA to prospect for coal on the farm Oudeplaas 16315 GT. The farm covers an area of 485 hectares, and is located in the magisterial district of Amajuba District Municipality in KZN Province. The following prospecting methods will be employed during prospecting activities:
1.Desktop study.
2.Exploration geophysics (ground electromagnetic survey)
3.Drilling of 20 exploration boreholes (diamond core drill)
