Proposal Description
The proposed access road is a 785-meter long and 15-meter wide road reserve. It also passes through a former agricultural area. This access will accommodate substantial loads and facilitate permanent entry to the substation from the major road (R516) in Bela-Bela. To facilitate the installation of two new 250 MVA transformers at the substation and to resolve existing access issues, a new access road must be constructed to support heavy loads and provide permanent, convenient access from the main road (R516) in the Bela-Bela area.
