Proposal Description
The prospecting drilling campaign will be used to establish stratigraphy, locate target minerals, define the extent of mineralisation , and demonstrate geological continuity of the mineralized zone across the area under investigation (application area). Numerous samples will be collected and tested at Vergenoeg Mine and/or commercial laboratory. Duplicate samples will be retained in storage at Vergenoeg Mine.
• Planned diamond drilling: Five diamond drill holes to 100m depth in BQ/ NQ size.
• Planned reverse circulation drilling: Five boreholes to 100m depth of 150mm diameter.
Trenching: In the possible event of shallow mineralization being encountered: Trenching for exposing an anomaly or for additional mapping or sampling may be required. Trenching of five 10m - trenches
(0.5m width and 2m depth) may be required. These may be dug by hand and/or by tractor - backhoe.
Province(s): Gauteng
