Proposal Description
The prospecting drilling campaign will be used to establish stratigraphy, locate target minerals, define the extent of mineralisation, and demonstrate geological continuity of the mineralized zone across the area under investigation (application area). Numerous samples will be collected and tested at Vergenoeg Mine and/or commercial laboratory. Duplicate samples will be retained in storage at Vergenoeg Mine.
- Planned diamond drilling: Five diamond drill holes to 100m depth in BQ/ NQ size.
- Planned reverse circulation drilling: Five boreholes to 100m depth of 150mm diameter.
Trenching: In the possible event of shallow mineralization being encountered: Trenching for exposing an anomaly or for additional mapping or sampling may be required. Trenching of five 10m-trenches (0.5m width and 2m depth) may be required. These may be dug by hand and/or by tractor-backhoe.
Province(s): Gauteng
