The Parliament Collection:
Depiction with negative undertones of a Khoi woman wearing a tattered Western-style dress and a red head scarf. She leans against a cannon which in turn leans against a wall. She holds a short-stemmed clay pipe in her left hand. Set in a street with buildings faintly drawn in the background, including a house with a dakkamer (room in the roof).
