    The Parliament Collection:
    Mature man facing the viewer, wearing wooden kaparang sandals and holding a traditional conical toering hat under his left arm. A jacket is slung over his rght shoulder. This is typical Muslim dress of that period, not a Dutch boor as in the title. (Part of a book, see 5272) Sketches of some of the various classes and tribes enhabiting [sic] The Colony of the Cape of Good Hope, and the interior of Southern Africa, with a brief Account Descriptive of the manners and customs of each; Dutch Boor [incorrect caption as Cape Malay dress eg hat and shoes]
