PROPOSED NTCSA 2ND AURORA-JUNO 400KV POWERLINE AND ASSOCIATED SUBSTATION WORKS IN THE WESTERN CAPE PROVINCE

The proposed 2nd Aurora-Juno 400kV powerline commences at the existing Aurora NTCSA substation, situated approximately 20 km east of Saldanha Bay, within the Saldanha Bay Municipality in the West Coast District of the Western Cape. This powerline route extends for 165 km in a northerly direction, traversing through the Bergriver and Cederberg Municipalities. It ultimately connects to the existing Juno NTCSA substation, located roughly 8 km northwest of Vredendal within the Matzikama Municipality in the West Coast District of the Western Cape.
