Witkrans PV Solar Energy Facility located within the Rustenburg Local Municipality in the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality within the North West Province.

The Applicant, Witkrans PV (Pty) Ltd, is proposing the construction of a photovoltaic (PV) solar energy facility (SEF) and associated infrastructure located on a site approximately 33km northwest of the town of Rustenburg in the North West Province. The site is located within the Rustenburg Local Municipality in the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality. The proposed development will be constructed on various portions of the farm Onderstepoort 98 JQ. Access to the site will be from the R565 Regional Route, via existing farm roads (main one to be widened) on various portion of the farms Onderstepoort 98 JQ, Frischgewaagd 96 JQ and Elandsfontein 102.
