Please be advised as follows: -

1. From photographs received it is clear that illegal work was carried out, since the covered braai-area and patio was already added. Please upload Form I from www.amafainstitute.org.za (go to the Title Bar and select "Resources" then go to "Forms" on the drop-down menu, download and complete Form I and upload on the South African Heritage Resources Information System.
2. Submit proof of payment of R10 000 for rectification of illegal work.
3. Submit internal photos of all areas where work is proposed for instance the proposed en-suites and creation of an open-plan kitchen area. Since we need proof whether the work was already, illegally done or whether it is still outstanding. If any work is outstanding, Form A must be submitted for proposed work. Download Form A in the same manner described above under point 1.
4. The estimated Cost of Work was not added to your application, if work is already done, then this number will not be needed, if some work is still outstanding, this number must be added.
5. The estimated number of people to be employed was not added, if work is already done, then this number will not be needed, if some work is still outstanding, this number must be added.
6. Please upload all previously plans.
7. Please upload photos of the streetscape (photos of houses in next to your address and accross from the road, so that we can see if there are similar architectural styles close to your house.
8. Upload proof of architectural accreditation.
9. The house is not an example of the Victorian Style, please study "A Measure or the Past" by M Jacobs, Rodney Harber and Brian Kearney which covers Victorian, Edwardian and Union Period styles.
