Built Environment Application - structures located at Fairbreeze Mine, Mthunzini

Fairbreeze Mine has been operating in the Mthunzini district for over a decade. Original applications for the demolition of some of the structures (derelict and / or abandoned) was made in 2010, and the last application for extension of the original permit was made by Gavin Anderson of Umlando on 28 February 2018, with Case ID 11448. The intention of this application is to reapply for the original permit. No demolition work has been carried out, and Highfield House has been retained as per recommendation of the first HIA, dated 2010.
