ELLIMENT MINING (PTY) LTD ZWARTKOPPIES 18812 PR

Eco Elementum (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter EcoE) has been appointed as independent Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAPs) to undertake the required processes to apply for environmental authorisations to prospect for coal on Portion 11 of the farm Zwartkoppies 316 JT, situated approximately 12 km southwest of Dullstroom and 20 km north of Belfast (Emakhazeni), within the Emakhazeni Local Municipality of the Nkangala District Municipality in the Mpumalanga Province South Africa. The proposed prospecting area measures an approximately 733.413 hectares (Ha).
The proposed project entails the application of a Prospecting Right (PR) for Elliment Mining (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter Elliment) in terms of Section 16 of the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act (Act No. 28 of 2002) (MPRDA) (as amended) and its associated regulations, and applying for environmental authorisation in respect of the National Environmental Management Act (Act No 107 of 1998) (NEMA) (as amended) and its associated Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations 2014 (as amended).
