Mining Permit for: Pyrophyllite (Ph) on 4.5193 Ha.
Mining will be:
The method of mining will be open cast mining in the bench and wall method. Blasting and/or the use of a hydraulic hammer will be employed to mine the material. Mining will take place in the existing quarry where Sino Rock (Pty) Ltd has been prospecting previously. The current quarry depth is approximately 4 meters where the proposed mining will take place.
The loose rock is taken to a screen to remove any sand and topsoil. The rock is sometimes reduced in size by utilizing a jaw crusher. A stockpile will be created at the screening/crusher plant and loaded on the trucks for transporting to the clients. Sino Rock (Pty) Ltd may also deliver micronized, screened and blended powder to customers, as needed.
