Erf 1052 Theescombe

The applicant, William Smith, proposes to develop residential complex with 38 subdivided erven on Erf 1052 in Gqeberha (Figure 1). The subdivided erven will be 3-bedroom, single-storey houses on erven between 300 m2 to 441 m2 in size on the approximately 1.78 ha sized Erf 1052. The residential complex will also include a central 963 m2 private open space area, a stormwater retention pond and associated infrastructure. Water and electricity will be obtained from municipal supply and sewage will be reticulated to the existing municipal sewage connections. Stormwater will be managed according to engineering specifications, including a stormwater retention pond. The site will be accessed via the existing Johannes Street. Rezoning of the property to General Residential Zone 1 is currently being applied for.
