Environmental Application for the Reclamation of the Rosherville Silts Dam

Digby Wells has been appointed by DRDGOLD Limited, which consists of two subsidiaries, one of them being Ergo Mining to undertake an application for an Integrated Environmental Authorisation for the reclamation of the Rosherville Silts. The Rosherville Silts deposit has been evaluated and scheduled as a possible down the line replacement for the Valley Silts reclamation project. In the early 2000s, some of the Rosherville Silts were explored and mined. Ergo proposes to continue with the reclamation and processing of the silt from the Rosherville Silts Dam. The Rosherville Silts deposit is located in the southeast of Johannesburg, Gauteng Province.
