Proposal Description
The proposed development will consist of 6 erven (3 erven zoned “Business 1”, 1 erf zoned “Residential 3”, 1 erf zoned “Institutional” & 1 erf zoned Private Open Space). Associated engineering infrastructure including electricity, water, sewerage and access roads will also be installed.
The site for the proposed township development is located on Portion 27 (a Portion of Portion 22) of the farm Doornspruit 41 LT. The proposed site is located to the north-west of Elim, adjacent to the Mpheni Block-A area. The application property is adjacent to Road R578 that connects the towns of Louis Trichardt and Elim (at co-ordinates: 23° 8 '15.66"S 30° 2' 39.96"E). A proposed new access road is located on the Remaining Extent of the Farm Doornspruit 41 LT which will connect the site with Road R578 and where a proposed new intersection with the R578 will be constructed.
