Drakensberg Protein 33kV Tee Line, Winterton

The Applicant has proposed the construction of a powerline in the Winterton area of the Okhahlamba Local and uThukela District Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal. The proposed powerline will comprise a tee line and will branch off from the existing 33kV Eskom Powerline and will run for approximately 1.3km before tying into the existing Drakensberg Protein facility located outside of Winterton. The proposed powerline will comprise a new wood pole overhead "Hare" line, and the aim of the project is to supply addition power to the Drakensberg Protein manufacturing facility.
