Komani Sewer Re-route and Pump Stations, EMLM, EC

The Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM) intends to develop the Komani Sewer Re-routing project in Komani, Erf 1, Division of Queenstown. The project comprises a 1.7km line route development (with pipe diameters ranging from 160–400mm in diameter), technological upgrade of four (4) or five (5) pumpstations (PS), the establishment of two (2) lagoons for emergency storage (lagoon designs will be finalised during detailed design and will be situated on the downstream side of the pumpstations to allow gravity flow to them from inlet works) at Main PS and Mlungisi PS respectively, and the establishment/continued use of a site camp at New Rathwick PS.
