    Proposal Description
    Application for destructive sampling and export of archaeological large mammal remains from Early Iron Age sites (Le6 and Le7) on the Letaba River, in the Kruger National Park. These samples will be used to conduct ZooMS analysis in order to identify giraffe remains. ZooMS analysis will take place at the Archaeo- and Palaeoproteomics Laboratory at the University of Tübingen, Germany. Analysis will be done to observe the entanglement between humans and giraffe on the Letaba sites.
