Proposal Description
Acciona Energy South Africa Global (Pty) Ltd is planning to construct the Zen Wind Farm (14/12/16/3/3/2/322) and the Bergriver Wind Farm (14/12/16/3/3/2/2105) located near Gouda in the Drakenstein Local Municipality within the Cape Winelands District Municipality, Western Cape. The proposed project is required to connect these wind farms to the national grid. In addition, the project would assist / strengthen the electricity network of the South African National grid, possibly meeting growing demand for electricity in the area and improving service quality and reliability.
