Destruction of Sites MMH 25 and MMH26 located on the farm Zwartfontein 818 LR near Mokopane, Limpopo Province

Digby Wells has been appointed to undertake the mitigation of two sites (MMH25 and MMH26) that were re-evaluated, their cultural significance were re-ascribed and they were rated medium and high significance. The sites were mitigated through investigations to gain a better understanding of such sites and contribute into research about them, the mitigation measures included test excavations and Digby Wells suggests that the sites can be destroyed. The Project area is situated on the property Zwartfontein 818 LR, ~25km north-west of the town of Mokopane, Limpopo.
