Regulus Energy Facility (RF) (Pty) Ltd is applying for environmental authorisation (EA) for the construction and operation of a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) facility and associated infrastructure, near Kroonstad, Free State Province. The project entails the development of the proposed Regulus Energy Facility, within a 2943 ha assessment area, which will generate up to 210MW of electrical power through photovoltaic (PV) panels. The PV facility and grid connection corridor will be located on Blanquilla No. 280, Remaining Extent of Winningdale No. 200, and Portion 4 of Theron No. 875, situated within the Moqhaka Local Municipality area of jurisdiction
