Proposal Description
The proposed project entails the application of a Prospecting Right (PR) for Alomabex (Pty) Ltd in terms of Section 16 (MPRDA) on Portion of Portion 18 and a Portion of Portion 97 of the Farm Heuvelfontein 215 IR, measuring 56.58 hectares in extent, situated in the Nkangala Magisterial district of Mpumalanga Province.
Alomabex has appointed Eco Elementum (hereinafter EcoE) as independent Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAPs) to undertake the required processes for the environmental authorisations, as they apply to prospect within the project area. A Basic Assessment (BA) process is required in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, Act No. 107 of 1998 (NEMA) and the 2014 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations, as amended for the application of a Prospecting Right.
