Proposal Description
The construction of the new 22kV feeder bay consists of 19.2km three phase 22kV powerline from substation to structure SAP-HB-192 including line from SAP-HB-191 to SAP-MYE-151, and a 9.4km line from structure SAP-HB-192 to structure HCT-2, using Hare conductor supported by H-poles and double cross-arms to support the heavy conductor.
The proposed development will be undertaken in Mthatha within the King Sabatha Dalindyebo in the Eastern Cape Province. The powerline will traverse the following villages:
- Ngwala
-Bhengu
- KuNgudle
- Phesheyya KweTabase, and
- Lwandlana.
The area in which the development will be undertaken is a residential area with access roads.
