LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR EXEMPTION FROM A PHASE 1 HERITAGE IMPACT ASSESSMENT FOR THE PROPOSED EXPANSION OF DANGEROUS GOODS STORAGE AND HANDLING AT OMNIA FERTILIZERS LOCATED IN SASOLBURG, FREE STATE PROVINCE

Omnia Group (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Omnia) is proposing an expansion of its existing dangerous goods storage and handling facility to support the onsite production of coating product, which will be applied to the final granular product. The proposed danger goods and handling expansion, with a total capacity of 165 m3 and an approximate footprint of 110 m², is located at 26°48'51" South and 27°51'22" East on Portion 2 of the Farm Driefontein 2, Sasolburg, within the Free State Province.
