ARQOPART has submitted a Mining Permit (MP) application in terms of Section 27 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act No. 28 of 2002 (MPRDA) to the Regional Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources (DMPR Mpumalanga). ARQOPART proposes to extract coal on the farm Eerstelingsfontein 406 JT, located approximately 20 km south of Belfast, Mpumalanga Province.
