Proposal Description
Rustenburg Platinum Mines Limited (RPM) is the owner and operator of the Amandelbult Mine (AMB). The mine has been operating since the 1970s and is located near the town of Northam in the Thabazimbi Local and Waterberg District municipalities in the Limpopo Province. The mine extends over approximately 20 km from west to east. It is the intention of AMB to decommission several areas and associated infrastructure of its operations, which is no longer in use.
