Mbali Colliery S102 amendment : Environmental Impact Assessment Report and Environmental Management Plan for the inclusion of Portions 4 and 28 of Klippoortjie 32 IS

Mbali Colliery, an active coal mining operation, is applying for a Section 102 amendment to expand its existing mining rights area. The proposed expansion involves integrating portions 4 and 28 of the farm Klippoortje 32 IS into the Mbali Colliery mining right area for further coal extraction. Additionally, the project includes plans for constructing a discard dump on previously mined-out portions (portions 16, 17, and 20) and the establishment of a wash plant on Portion 4.
