Higgo Quarry is a large abandoned quarry within the Table Mountain National Park south of Higgovale. It was founded by the Higgo brothers, who had emigrated from Cornwall with their parents. It exploited granite of the Early Cambrian Cape Granite Suite for building stone, kerbstones, road metal and aggregate in Cape Town, including the Mandela-Rhodes Building.
