Dancer (Staccato) is a carved, teak wood sculpture by the South African artist Israel Isaac (Lippy) Lipschitz. The sculpture is signed and dated 'LIPPY 1928' to the base. The dimensions are 42 x 4 x 4.5cm (16 9/16 x 1 9/16 x 1 3/4in) excluding the base.

Description
The carved wooden sculpture is made of teak wood, depicts a dancing figure in an abstract manner. The figure stands atop two bases, one of the same teak wood, and one larger and square beneath this.
The sculpture is signed and dated 'LIPPY 1928' to the lower base and has been exhibited on two occasions:
