Dr Archibald Campbell Jordan was born on 30th November 1906,at Mbokotwana mission in the Tsolo district. He began his formal primary education at Mbokothwana proceeding to St Cuthberts mission higher boarding school, still in Tsolo he continued his school education at St John's college in Mtata and lovedale institution in Alice. AC Jordan received his university education at Fort hare receiving his master's of arts in 1942. In 1960 he was awarded a Carnegie scholarship but was denied travel documents by white minority government. Dr AC Jordan was forced into exile in 1961, he died on 20 October 1968 in Madison Winstonia in the United states.Purpose:
