Description
To establish the connection between the city and the sea, also to retain and enhance historical importance that provides a functional, convenient, comfortable, safe and unrestricted space with recreational activities for all age groups.
Original Position
The Battery Park is situated on the site that was Amsterdam Battery which was built in 1784 and later was converted to a prison by the British in 1827. Although most of it has been demolished but there are still remnants of the original structure, making this an important historical site.
