The application was tabled for a decision by the Heritage Officers' Committee Meeting on the 19th of August 2023. A decision was made to write a referral letter, since the Heritage Impact Assessment stated that a Phase II Paleontological Impact Assessment was necessary (Form D for archaeological and palaeontological material). Secondly, it was not clear whether the fossilised bone and other eco-facts discovered were going to be kept by the owners or the site (Champagne Sky Wedding Venue) or by the paleontologist who executed the study, Mr. Gary Trower, in this case he must apply for a collection permit (Form E, Collection of Heritage Material) and upload it to SAHRIS.
