This parsonage was erected in about 1860 for the Rev G W Stegman. The double-storeyed building is predominantly in the Georgian style and has large adjacent outbuildings dating from the same period.

The old Parsonage and outbuildings, including a piece of ground stretching as far as the western boundary and the boundary in front of the old parsonage, as well as a piece of ground of 15 metres on the eastern side and 15 metres behind the old parsonage, situate on certain piece of ground, known as Erf 303, Adelaide, in the Municipality of Adelaide and Division of Fort Beaufort, and measuring one (1) morgen four hundred and thirty-four (434) square roods, one hundred and fifteen (115) square feet.
