      Statement of Significance

      The so-called "Peperbus" was built in 1861 by Adam Jacobs according to a plan by the Rev. Bamberger. The building is architecturally particularly interesting, with its hexagonal shape which gradually merges into a hexagonal dome and a bell tower.
