Statement of Significance
Lettskraal house and farm building are of extreme historical and architectural imporatnce. The former farm of Andries pretorius, before he left on the Great Trek, the complex at Lettskraal, despite their dilapidated conditions are probably the most intact examples of a trekboer homestead, a fact attributed to the remote location.
