The two sites, together with the historic blockhouse thereon - being Portion 5 of the Farm Klipdrift and part of Kookfontein 109, in extent 102 square metres, and a National Monument site situated on Portion 7 of the Farm Klipdrift and part of Kookfontein 109, in extent 4,0365 hectares - situated in the Administrative District of Herbert, Province of the Cape of Good Hope, indicated as the figures ABCD on Survey Diagram SG 806/1910, dated 4 July 1910, and bCDEFGHJKA on Survey Diagram SG 5017/1988, dated 20 September 1988, respectively both filed in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in Kimberley and on File 4/K/Herb/1 in the office of the National Monuments Council in Cape Town.
