      Statement of Significance

      Armagh is a supurb example of consolidation phase architecture in Kimberley. The residence was designed by the architect Carstairs Rogers in 1901 for Robert Hugh Henderson, founder of the international firm Henderson and Co. General Dealers, and mayor during the Siege of Kimberley in 1900. The residence is a pivotal building in Memorial Road and contributes positively to the environment.
