      Statement of Significance

      This double-storey building with its predominantly neo-Classical features was designed and built in 1924 by the architects Cordeaux, Farrow and Stocks. The building was named after James Faunce Lonsdale, founder member and later Secretary of the British Kaffrarian Savings Bank.
