Statement of Significance
This predominantly neo-Gothic building probably dates from the eighteen fifties and was used for several decades as a school by the Wesleyans. The building has been used as a Synagogue since 1908. With the two adjoining buildings, which were also originally erected by the Wesleyan Church, it forms an impressive building complex.
