This neo-Gothic church building was erected in the years 1861 to 1862, soon after the Reformed Church was established in 1859. It is the oldest Reformed Church building in the Cape Province.

(2) Certain piece of land, being the dry erf numbered 2 in Block 1 (now known as Erf 285), situate in the Village of Middelburg, in the Division of Colesberg, now Middelburg, and measuring 35 square roods.
(3) Certain piece of land situate in the Division of Colesberg, now Middelburg, in the Village of Middelburg, being part of the dry erf numbered 1 in Block 1 (now known as Erf 286, Middelburg) and measuring 5 square roods 120 square feet.
