      Statement of Significance

      This double-storeyed house not only forms an integral part of the only remaining concentration of early twentieth century Edwardian beach houses in South Africa, but also borders on the old False Bay coastal road, which is regarded as one of the most scenic drives in the Cape Peninsula.
