      Statement of Significance

      The enlargement of this church, the original portions of which date from the Eighteen-thirties, was planned by Carl Otto Hager. He also supervised the building activities for 18 months. The rebuilt church is predominantly neo-Gothic in style and was consecrated on 17 November 1871.
