Statement of Significance
This house and garden is an important example of British Colonial arcitecture at the turn of the century and is notable as the home of the architect F K Kendall who, as a member of the firm of Sir Herbert Baker and in his own right, made a significant contribution to the history of domestic and academic building in this country.
