Statement of Significance
The Ramblers Club is a fine example of Edwardian architecture at the turn of the century and one of the best-known landmarks in Bloemfontein. The building which was erected in 1907, was designed by the well-known Free State architect, H.G.E. de la Cornillere. It occupied an important place in the sport, political and cultural life of the city.
