Statement of Significance
These three buildings form part of the historic core of Grey College, the oldest school in the Orange Free State. The buildings known as Brill House and Andrew Murray House were designed by Frank Taylor and officially opened on 19 December 1907 by the then Governor of the Orange River Colony, Sir Hamilton J. Goold-Adams. The Tuck Shop was since 1908 a popular gathering-place of the pupils of Grey College.
