The Ebenzer Church and Mission complex was Created by the Church of Sweden under Reverends Lars Norenius, Witt and Walberg between 1889 and 1890. In July 1889 it was decided that the church of sweden was going to start mission work in Dundee,Rev Lars Norenuis,Witt and Walberg took to doing the work. Rev Norenius started to do mission work in Dundee,as the mission work grew it was decided that a plot of land must be bought then over time more section were added such as a school ,parsonage in 1897 and later on Ebenezer church in 1898
