The ruins of the Marianne Church and the bank surrounding it, situated on the remainder of Wilde PerdeVlei (now known as Doverton) situated in the County of Weenen, Province of Natal. These ruins are the remains of the second Dutch Reformed Church erected in Natal, and which was in use from 1852 to 1874. It was namedafter the wife of then Minister of Pietermaritzburg. Dr Faure.
